A terrarium is an interesting alternative to a houseplant and this workshop is a great opportunity to learn how to create your own. A terrarium is a transparent globe or similar clear glass container in which plants are grown, a bit like a miniature garden but for your indoor space.
On 24 and 25 February 2018, we will be holding two workshops at 11am and 2pm
The workshop will begin with a chat about how a terrarium works as a miniature eco-system, how to care and maintain a terrarium and which plants to choose.
You will have the choice of creating your own wet terrarium using ferns and foliage or dry terrarium using cacti and succulents - all will be explained at the workshop.
Build your own bespoke terrarium to take home with you. All materials are provided.
If you are purchasing the workshop as a gift, we can send you a gift card to give to the attendee.
Each session will last for a duration of approx 1 hour, please make sure you arrive at the Garden Centre 15 minutes booking your session start time.
(Glassware and plants may vary slightly to those pictured)
